Dream of The Great Nation or the Chinese Dream is not solely for the benefit of one race but for the long term benefit of the world. It's not a dream that can be generalized because it’s a dream for achievements in all walks of life. The Chinese Dream encourages the need of peace and harmony in the world. This would mean the revival of the Confucian Culture and its understanding. It is about time that we try and understand China and its peaceful development. The nation is unpredictable and may take generations to understand their thoughts and ancestors. The sooner we understand them, the sooner we can benefit from them in the long term. Yet many of us were hungry for China's wealth. Rather than attaining the treasures though fair trade and long term co-operation, we plundered and stole from the nation with firearms and battleships. We only got short term gains, leaving much of the great valuables destroyed and unattainable. We should take this as a lesson of the past and understand that we can achieve a long term gain from China though fair co-operation, not war. The beauty of China's progress should be cherished. Though the Chinese Dream this website aims to help accelerate the understanding of China, as a nation of harmony rather than a threat as it is seen.
